At Smith Custom Woodworks, each piece of furniture or cabinet is handcrafted to order. To ensure fairness and cover material and labor costs, our cancellation policy is as follows:

Order Cancellations:

• Orders may be canceled within 48 hours of purchase for a full refund.

• Cancellations requested after 48 hours are subject to a 20% cancellation fee, as materials are often sourced and production may be scheduled shortly after the order is placed.

• If your furniture or cabinetry is already in production or completed, cancellations are no longer eligible for a refund.

Custom Orders:
All furniture and cabinetry are considered custom builds and are non-refundable once production begins.

What is a sofa table used for?
A sofa table is designed to sit behind a couch to hold lamps, décor, plants, drinks, or everyday essentials. It can also be used as a slim console table in an entryway or hallway.

Will this table fit behind my sofa?
This table is approximately 10" deep × 2" thick, making it ideal for narrow spaces. Measure the length behind your sofa and confirm you have at least 10" of clearance for depth.

What is the table made from?
The tabletop is made from a reclaimed solid wood top with natural grain character. Because real, reclaimed wood is used, each piece will have unique variation in color and pattern.

Are the hairpin legs included?
Yes. Steel hairpin legs are included, along with mounting hardware for easy installation.

Is assembly required?
Minimal assembly is required, typically attaching the legs to the underside of the tabletop using the included hardware. A basic screwdriver or drill is usually all you need.

How durable is the finish, and what finish is used?
The tabletop is finished with multiple coats of Danish Oil to enhance the grain and provide a durable, furniture-grade surface for everyday use.

How do I care for and clean the sofa table?
Dust with a soft cloth. For cleaning, use a lightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid harsh chemicals and standing water. If needed over time, you can refresh the surface with a compatible furniture oil/conditioner.

Can I customize the dimensions or wood species?
In many cases, yes. If you need a different length/depth, a different thickness, or a specific wood species, we can often build a custom version, reach out with your desired measurements.

Will the wood look exactly like the photos?
No two tables are identical. Natural variations in grain and color are normal and are part of the character of solid wood and handcrafted work.
